I reached out to Niah and Owen when looking for a nice home for my mother. Her furnace had malfunctioned during the height of the extremely cold weather and about turned out, it needed to be replaced. Niah and Owen’s home is beautiful and they are excellent hosts. Because we weren’t sure how long the replacement would take, we booked for initial stay but ended up extending. The hosts were understanding and worked with us until my mother could return home. They have done a beautiful renovation of the house and there are many wonderful amenities. Great place for a family or group of friends to stay.

Niah and Owen’s house is gorgeous—if you’re a fan of historic homes with beautiful upgrades, you’ll love spending time there. Everything was comfortable and clean but had tons of character, too. We were nervous about traveling with our 18 month-old, but Niah and Owen had a Pack ‘n Play set up for us, a high chair, and even books and toys for our daughter. Highly recommend taking a bath in the third story bathroom if you have a chance, too. All in all, the house was a convenient and lovely place to spend a weekend in Detroit. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved staying at this house! We were visiting family for thanksgiving, and this was the perfect spot for us. It’s central and gave everyone enough room. Lots of cool books and artwork in the home. We appreciated having a kitchen to cook in. And everything was super clean and well organized.

We had another reservation that fell thru and I’m so glad it did. This home was one of a kind and so spacious. You can really see the care put into curating every piece in the home. It was in a beautiful neighborhood that is so close to everything. The city of Detroit has so much to do and see, but I honestly could have spent my days relaxing in the house. Our favorite thing to do was turn on the old style radio and pull out the board games every evening. Niah, the wonderful host, was the cherry on top of an already amazing trip. 10/10 recommend booking with them.
